Service Overview
Whether you recently purchased farmland, inherited property, or acquired acreage years ago, we can determine if you qualify for deductions that could put thousands of dollars back in your pocket.
How It Works
We determine the baseline soil nutrition based on soil conditions and geographical data specific to your region. This baseline represents what would be considered normal fertility levels, allowing us to calculate the excess nutrients that qualify for deduction.
We assign a dollar value to excess soil nutrition using regional pricing data for each micro- and macro-nutrient. Current market rates for fertilizer products establish the fair market value of nutrients present in your soil at the time of acquisition.
We provide a detailed report of our findings to help guide you and your CPA on how best to apply the deduction. This comprehensive documentation meets IRS requirements and gives your accountant everything needed to file with confidence.
CPA Guidance and Support
We can work directly with your current CPA to help them understand Section180 and its potential benefits for you.
